We think a great film shouldn't cost you a subscription
OnStream started with a simple frustration: paying for several streaming services every month and still not finding the thing you wanted to watch. We set out to build one app that puts the whole library in front of you, works on every screen you already own, and never asks for a card number.
From a frustration to millions of viewers
What began as a small project to index reliable streaming sources has grown into one of the most downloaded free entertainment apps in the world. We kept the original rules: no registration wall, no premium tier, no data harvesting.
Our values
Entertainment should be accessible
Great films and series shouldn't be locked behind three separate subscriptions. We built OnStream so anyone with a screen and a connection can watch without a monthly bill.
Simplicity over friction
No account, no email, no verification code. Every design decision starts with the question: does this get the viewer to Play faster?
Built with the community
Our request feature exists because users asked for it. Most requested titles are indexed within 24 to 48 hours, and the roadmap is shaped by what people ask for most.
Quality without compromise
Free doesn’t mean rough. Adaptive HD playback, multiple failover servers and properly synced subtitles are standard for everyone, on every device.
A link index, not a content host
OnStream does not host, upload or store any media on its own servers. The app indexes publicly available streaming links from third-party sources and presents them in a single organised interface with subtitles, quality selection and failover servers. All content rights remain with their respective owners, and we remove any source on legitimate request from a rights holder.
Our blog covers setup guides for Firestick, Smart TV, PC and iOS.
Because availability depends on those third-party sources, we maintain multiple servers per title and refresh the index daily so that what you see in the app is what actually plays.
